ARGH!!!!

One reason why I didn't start watching LOST was that the TV channels and the magazines were constantly advertising it (e.g. Moderators were wearing T-Shirts saying "LOST - 5 days to go" "...4 days" etc..<_<)

(Apart from that, it didn't "grab" me...and I still think it's one of the lamest and most boring shows I've ever seen, but that's "just" me... V_V)

But: NOW they're doing it again. You can't open a newspaper without encountering a big

LOST (<-- click, this one but without the people)... or FOUND (cos it's now over on Sky 1)O_o

I sit on the train, every minutes a big sign saying LOST or FOUND..sometimes next to each other. >_<

And again the newspapers: they seem to have made it their aim to interview every single person of the cast or what? Asking everybody the same questions that none wants/can (to) answer. Argh. AND: LondonLITE and LONDONPAPER both have an ad disguised as an article as their front page (plus the inside) (back page is...again... LOST (or FOUND) and in the middle, a two page LOST (or FOUND) and somewhere hiding in the papers are more interviews and articles.

Really, seriously, stop it please. If this show is really that good as you think it is, it doesn't need this horrible in-your-face campaign. >_<

Don't make me hate it more. If all goes wrong I might spend my sunday evenings alone for the next six weeks cos bf and his brother are off to find a TV with Sky 1... *sigh*

Battersea Powerstation

Today I met Bea. She came down from Manchester to meet me and see London. Of course I was 2 minutes lates although I got up at 9. We wanted to meet at 11:40am. The first train was announced to be in in 6 minutes. Felt like 10. When it arrived it was packed. I couldn't get in cos people refused to move their behinds out of my way. So I had to wait for another 10 minutes. Geeez.

I arrived at Euston at about 12:05am and I had to find her. 5 minutes later I did and we wandered off towards Oxford Street where I showed her the Astoria. Radiohead had played there in 1994, the evidence can be seen on DVD.

Then we went to a Vegetarian Restaurant and I had yummay Lasagne of the day , white Basmati and a Snapple_Mango Madness. Yummaaaaaay!!!!

After that we took the tube to Oxford Circus (had to wait for another train, the first one was packed...maaaaaan) and went down to Savile Row...

....former home of the Apple corporation and studios. On the roof of this house the Beatles gave their legendary (wohoo) Get Back performance.

After that we went to Picadilly Circus, had some pictures taken, bought something in the GAP and then I took her to Soho: Record Shops!!! She liked it but didn't find anything. Hm. It was btw this road:
What then. Oh yeah. We went to Parliament Square and on our way passed Trafalgar Square but we couldn't see much as it was packed with lorries and stuff. The sun was on it's way down and everything looked really nice. (Photos will follow)

While Bea was taking a picture of said beautiful scene I was summoned to join a group of men standing in front of the St.Stephen's pub. The guy was kinda nice and not as drunk as the guy who tried hugging and kissing me. He somehow managed to hit my cheek...phew. Bea seemed to like the idea of joining their Pub Crawl...I didn't. I don't drink and I don't like strange people. And the "there're girls in there too" didn't change that. So we continued to the Thames. We took a few pictures and then decided to go back to Euston as it was about 4:45pm. Bea's train was due to leave at about 7pm and we wanted some dinner.

As we arrived in Euston we couldn't find anything decent to sit and eat so Bea just bought something for "on the train" and then decided to get the 6pm train. Okay. A few minutes later it was 5:30pm and we departed.

I hope she had a nice day, I certainly did. :)

1. If you forget to take the pill, you can get pregnant. Almost immediately.

2. If you stop taking the pill to get pregnant it takes up to a year to become pregnant.
